FLiCKERFEST NATIONAL TOUR WRAPS UP A WONDERFUL 5 MONTH JOURNEY AROUND AUSTRALIA!

We’ve done it! Flickerfest’s biggest journey around Australia yet has come to an end! Over 5 months, 53 venues and 99 screenings later we have criss-crossed the country from Cairns to Canowindra, from Narrogin to Newcastle, Alice Springs to Avoca and Brisbane to Broome, plus a whole host of places in between. The Flickerfest tour for 2016 touched down with the final screening this past weekend in the Goldfields of Kalgoorlie.

Audiences across the land have been thrilled, entertained, awed and amused with the five touring programmes, including locally-made shorts screening in their home towns!

It has been a wonderful year, and we thank all of our partners, audiences, filmmakers, venues, and our tireless team, for making it the best 25th birthday celebration!

Now we invite you to contribute to making our 26th festival in 2017 the best one yet.
