Booking Information:

Online bookings close 1 hour before each sessions start time.

Tickets can be purchased from the Flickerfest Box Office on the ground floor at the beachside entrance to the Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach 1 hour prior to session screenings! (subject to availability)

* All Flickerfest transactions are cashless !

All daytime sessions are in Bondi Pavilion indoor air-conditioned theatre; 9pm sessions are in the Bondi Pavilion North Courtyard outdoor lawn cinema (seating provided). Seating is unreserved for Flickerfest but both our indoor theatre and outdoor lawn cinema have an abundance of comfortable chairs, all with a good view of the screen, so you can choose your most comfortable Flickerfest experience.
(If it is raining, 9pm outdoor sessions will be in the indoor theatre also!)
Bring a blanket or warm jacket as evenings can get cool down here at the beach.

Why not come early and grab a table and enjoy a cool drink from the palm fringed Festival Bar.

All sessions are approx 110 mins.

ALL SESSIONS ARE 15+ (children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult),
Programmes may contain mature themes & are not recommended for children under 15.
EXCEPT FlickerKids & FlickerUp (are all ages)

Flickerfest is an all-weather event.

1.30pm, 4pm & 6.30pm sessions screen in the indoor theatre.

9pm sessions are in the outdoor lawn cinema with seating provided.
(In the case of rain we will move to the indoor theatre).

Gala Opening Night, Screening & After-Party: open 8pm for 8.30pm start.
Gala Closing Night, Awards, Screening & After-Party: open 7pm for 7.30pm start.

Refund policy: No refunds, exchange possible up to 24hrs prior.

Warm clothing is advised for 9pm outdoor screenings.
Especially for cooler evenings!

The Festival Bar & Menu

Coming to a session between 1.30pm and 6.30pm. Head upstairs to the Pavilion Social upstairs at the Bondi Pavilion (open daily).
You can enjoy a leisurely meal from their Food Menu & Drinks Menu whilst watching the waves.

Or if rushing to see a show at Flickerfest day sessions.  – You can pre order your drinks (not food) from Pavilion Social bar, to pick up on arrival.

There is also a Flickerfest Pavilion Social Special -2 glasses of house wine (choice of sparkling, white, rose or red from the Tatachilla Range) & cold cut platter for $45

Open at 8pm for 9pm Evening sessions our Flickerfest Outdoor Cinema Bar under the stars in the Pavilion Courtyard is looking forward to welcoming you for drinks, chips & popcorn.

You are welcome to bring you own food to the evening sessions but there is no BYO, Flickerfest is fully licenced.

The Flickerfest Outdoor Cinema Bar will be open from 8pm each night. (weather dependant)

Enjoy a Bondi Liquor spirit, a Rosnay Organic wine, a cool Gage Roads beer, a Karma soft drink/juice some organic chips or popcorn.

Getting There:

The Flickerfest Festival venue is located at Bondi Pavilion, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach, NSW, 2026

The Festival takes place at Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach; 9pm sessions run outdoors in the North Courtyard, and all other sessions are screen in the upstairs indoor theatre.
Access to both cinemas is via the Front or rear entrance to the Bondi Pavilion.

By Bus – Catch the 333 (prepay only), 380, 381 or 382 from Circular Quay along Oxford Street to Bondi Beach.

By Train – Catch the train to Bondi Junction then catch the 333 (prepay only), 380, 381 or 382 to Bondi Beach.

By Car – There is pay parking available in the beach car park (which has free parking after 7pm).
Some unmetered parking also available north of Blair St.
