Rose, a young Maltese-Australian woman, inherits her Nanna Marija’s cupcake business when Marija passes away. In order to cope with the loss, Rose takes on far more than the recipes her Nanna left behind. Assuming Marija’s identity, Rose avoids grief by escaping into a magical 1960s dreamscape.
