Welcome to DAY 6 of the festival!This evening we have our two fantastic sessions of shorts. First up Best of International 3. The third of five sessions showcasing international shorts in competition for two Academy® Accredited awards – the Flickerfest Award for Best International Short Film and the Yoram Gross Award for Best International Animation. You won’t want to miss this diverse programme of the finest up-and-coming screen story-tellers from all around the world.Following the International films we have another great session of local shorts in Best of Australian 6. The final of six programmes in competition for the coveted Academy® Accredited Virgin Australia Award For Best Australian Short Film, plus other great awards.See you there!

Coming up Thursday

ImageBest of International 4 – The fourth of five sessions featuring international shorts in competition. This session is a serious journey around the world with films from the UK, Belgium, South Korea, Germany, the US and Norway.

ImageWindows on Europe 1 – The first of two programmes showcasing short films drawn from the European Union and presented in partnership with the European Union Delegation to Australia. This session is a celebration of all things European!
Thursday at 6:30pm

 

ImageWindows on Europe 2 – The second session of shorts from the European Union including films from Spain, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Denmark, UK and Germany by Europe’s finest up-and-coming screen story tellers.
