We’re thrilled to share our official #Flickerfest 2024 trailer with you! Hot off the press Muriel and Rhonda are on their way to the 33rd year of Flickerfest at the Bondi Pavilion!
Get ready for another incredible season of the best short cinema from Australia and around the world, from 19-28 January 2024 as we roll out the red carpet at our home the Bondi Pavilion.
This year, our trailer celebrates another ode to an iconic Australian film, ‘Muriel’s Wedding’. PJ Hogan’s Aussie classic turns 30 the same year we turn 33, so naturally we made our own Muriel’s wedding at the Bondi Pavilion.
Written and directed by Ruby Challenger and produced by Catherine van der Rijt. Our Flickerfest 2024 Muriel’s Wedding Tribute features the wonderful acting talents of Nathalie Morris, Asher Yasbincek, and John Howard.
Now in its 33rd year, Flickerfest is Australia’s leading The Academy® Qualifying and BAFTA recognised short film festival.
