Flickerfest 2018 Programme Announced & Tickets On Sale Now!
After months of deliberation watching over 2,500 short films, the 27th Flickerfest International Short Film Festival is thrilled to announce the full list of short films officially selected into the Academy® Accredited and BAFTA recognised competitions across Australian, International and documentary categories for 2018.
This year the Australian competition will screen an impressive 55 films including 21 world premieres, 4 Australian premieres and 16 NSW premieres. Flickerfest’s international programme will feature 33 films including 2 world premieres, 19 Australian premieres and 4 NSW premieres.
All films officially selected at Flickerfest will compete for a number of awards across various areas of the filmmaking craft, including the Flickerfest Award For Best International Film, the Yoram Gross Award For Best Animation and Virgin Australia Award For Best Australian Film, all Academy® Accredited.
