FLiCKERUP ENTRIES EXTENDED DEADLINE WED 22ND NOV!
It’s time to wrap up your film and enter it into FlickerUp!
The FlickerUp 2024 competition is an Australian Youth Competition for filmmakers 18 & under which will screen as part of the 33rd Flickerfest Short Film Festival, taking place at Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach, from the 19th – 28th January 2023.

INFO FOR YOUR FILMMAKERS
Films submitted must be under 35 minutes long.
In previous festivals we have screened films that can tell a great story in 1, 5, 10 and 15 minutes.
We don’t have any theme – we want to you to have the freedom to choose. We love seeing all types of films: any genre and style including live action, documentary, silent, music clips, experimental, stop motion, animation.
You don’t need to film it on a professional camera, a great story is what counts. You can use your phone, camera or film camera.
We have an industry professional jury who looks at various elements of your film – your story, sound, pacing.
Selected films will screen on Saturday 27th January 2024 at Flickerfest Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach, followed by an awards presentation.
