Flickerfest on route to Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour & Griffith! +Byron Bay Masterclass!!

FLiCKERFEST IS BRINGING SHORTS HOME!!!

Flickerfest headed west out to Broome last weekend and took with it the short Blight from Broome born and raised director Perun Bonser.

This weekend once again we are bringing shorts home to share with local audiences as we stop off at the Gold CoastCoffs Harbour and Griffith!!

To HOTA on the Gold Coast this Thursday evening we are bringing the charming Patty Lovesick from Gold Coast director James Fitchett along with Mother, Child from Tin Pang who was born and raised in the area.

Mother, Child director Tin Pang and Patty Lovesick producer Joshua Fitzpatrick will stick around following the screening to take part in a Q & A with Flickerfest Festival Director Bronwyn Kidd.

To the Jetty Theatre in Coffs Harbour on Friday night we will bring the hilarious Gwen, inspired by weird and wonderful real life people and events, written by the Coffs Harbour born and raised writer Naomi Bird.

Last but not least we will heading to the Griffith Regional Theatre on Saturday night along with the wonderful Your Call Is Important To Us, which was co-produced by Leeton local lass Kathryn Power.

All of these fantastic shorts will screen as part of our Best of Australian shorts programme.  Come and join us and help support your local filmmakers as we flick around the country!  We are bound to be coming soon to a town near you, check out our tour page for more details!!
