Flickerfest Tour revs up after Easter!
Another Big Flickerfest Weekend coming up!
We hope everyone had a great Easter and managed to find time to relax and rest!
After a big week before Easter, with fabulous audiences in Alice Springs, Canberra etc. we’ve had a little Easter break ourselves, but this coming weekend we are back in the swing of it!
Coming up this weekend, we are screening in GRAFTON with local producer Lois Randall, from Nan and Whole Lot of Trouble, heading along to the Saraton Theatre to introduce the film. Also on the local film front, in ADELAIDE, catch The Orchestra from Mikey Hill and Melanie Brunt, as well as What We Know from Marion Pilowsky, who all hail from Adelaide, both screening with the Best of Australian Shorts on Saturday night at the Mercury Cinema.
And we wanted to take this opportunity to offer a big congratulations to the filmmakers of Bear Story, winner of the Oscar for Best Short (Animation), screening with our FlickerKids programme in WILLUNGA, South Australia this coming weekend and JURIEN BAY, WA on the 9 April, outdoors under the stars.
And today is the last day you can catch Flickerfest in the sky on the Virgin In-flight service which is screening some terrific Australian shorts including shorts for the little ones!
