Flickerfest on tour – bringing hot shorts to your town!
We’ve had another massive weekend on the Flickerfest tour. Tripping around the countryside from Cairns in QLD to Esperance and Broome at opposite ends of the country then down to Launceston, Cygnet and Hobart in Tasmania taking in almost all four corners of the country (if Australia was a square!!!). Like our Facebook page to check out the pics and keep up to date on upcoming events.
This week we’re heading to the Northern Territory, screening in Katherine (Thurs, 17 March) and Alice Springs (17 – 19 March) with a great line up of short films. Our Best of Australian programme screens in both venues and features Nan and A Whole Lot of Trouble from director Dena Curtis, formerly of Alice Springs and originally from Tennant Creek plus Nulla Nulla, directed by Dylan River, who hails from Alice Springs. Very local indeed!
In Canberra (Thurs, 17 March), don’t miss Foal, screening alongside the the main programme, from Canberra-raised director Vanessa Gazy and shot in the beautiful Namaji National Park.
