Saturday Night Flickerfest Fever & What’s On Monday!

Saturday’s Flickerfest 2020 was chockas with fantastic films from here and around the world. including World and Australian Premieres, and even a film by fantastic it girl Chloe Sevigny. The first International and the first three Australian programme were up to show our amazing juries what their films have to offer. This festival really has something for everyone, and you won’t want to miss out.

Our International and Australian Competition Programmes continue as we continue to screen the most fantastic films from around the world and here at home who will battle it out for top prizes of the Festival.

At 6:30pm join us for Best of International 3, where you can get the chance to mingle with some fantastic festival guests including Jealous Alan director Martin Clark from Bonnie Scotland and Division Series producer Jin Soo Lee from South Korea joining us here at the festival. Also screening is the Scandi crazy comedy The Tent about a dysfunctional family who try and put up a tent.

Then at 8:45pm, we return back home with Best of Australian 5, which features 5 World Premieres including Peach from Director Sophie Saville about a socially anxious young woman who lands a hot date, Mr Bubbles from Writer/Director Eden Falk, Atlas from Gene Alberts about a man and his dog are looking to escape captivity on a rural farm under the watchful eye of surveillance drones, Dane McCusker’s gripping social drama The Complex and Smoko Porno a love letter to small towns and that first fumble in the dark!!
