Flickerfest 2026 Trailer Coming Soon, Festival Dates | FINAL CALL for Specsavers Comp & FlickerUp

This week, Bondi Pavilion was alive with sequins, sass and cinematic magic as we filmed the brand new Flickerfest 2026 trailer, inspired by the iconic Aussie classic The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. Featuring a dazzling cast, a passionate local crew, and some seriously talented creatives, the trailer is a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and pure cinematic magic, all in true Flickerfest style. Launching Soon!!

A special thanks to our Director Celeste Andy Diep, Producer Catherine van der Rijt, PANAVISION, Spectrum Films, Guy Gross at Church Street Studios, Trackdown Studios, Fountainhead Casting  and Waverley Council.

We’ve also been busy viewing a record almost 3,600 entries from filmmakers across Australia and around the world, and we can’t wait to share this incredible line-up as we mark our 35th birthday in 2026.

Flickerfest 2026, hits Bondi Pavilion from 23 January to 1 February for ten days of the very best short films from Australia and around the world, under the stars, by the sea, and as proudly fabulous as ever!
