A fabulous feast of films coming up this weekend!
Happy International Women’s Day for yesterday! Flickerfest has a strong history of supporting female screen practitioners and we’re happy to say Flickerfest 2016 had 21 brilliant directors in our Australian competition who were women. We look forward to continuing to celebrate talented short filmmaking women and the stories they tell in the years to come.
The Flickerfest Tour is on a roll! After a bumper weekend of screenings in Perth (above), North Queensland, Dungog and Barraba in country NSW, this coming weekend we hit Tasmania, Cairns and beyond. We love to say hi and see your pics from the tour so don’t forget to tag us on instagram and Facebook with #FLiCKERFEST2016
