We had an incredible time last week as we landed at HOTA on the Gold Coast, at the Thornton Theatre in Narrogin and the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba.

At HOTA on the Gold Coast we welcomed Luisa Martiri from Pools, Katherine Chediak Putnam from Inferno,  Angus Wilkinson, director of The Exit Plan, Stephen Lance and Madeleine Allen from Torch Song and BAMA director Jahvis Loveday as they shared their stories in a Q and A with local audiences after the screening.

At the Thornton Theatre in Narrogin on Friday evening, Perth animator Radheya Jegathava was present with his father, producer Jay Jay Jegathesan for their short Painting By Numbers screening as part of the Best of Australian Shorts programme.  They were joined at the screening by Tina Fielding, the Perth based writer and star of the delightful and moving WA film Sparkles who was also in attendance.
