Flickerfest is thrilled to showcase an exciting programme of 12 inspiring and award-winning films in our handpicked Best Of Melbourne Shorts Programme when the Flickerfest Tour lands at the Kino Palace Cinema on Wednesday 13th April. Selected for competition at Flickerfest Bondi, our Best Of Melbourne shorts features an amazing bunch of talented Melbourne creatives and their stories, giving Flickerfest Melbourne audiences the first look at the hottest shorts films made and produced in their hometown.

Featuring Object Of Life, clever award winning animated tale of not being weighed down by materialism, Hellbender, a suburban comedy about an unremarkable man on his quest for significance, Sandra, a women whose voyeuristic addiction to online shopping is brought to light by a nervous gamer and The Quirky Best Friend, a delightfully classic rom com that takes an unexpected turn when the leading ladies best friend is called out for hiding behind her sidekick role, the Flickerfest Best Of Melbourne Shorts will take you on a not to be missed journey through some incredibly creative and inspiring cinema gems grown in your own Melbourne backyard, from a super charged team of super talented directors.

For $25 a ticket, you’ll get to watch all the hand-picked shorts and festival award-winners in one evening. Plus, as part of your ticket, you’ll get either a Gage Roads beer, Rosnay organic wine or PS Organic drink on arrival, not to mention the chance to hear from the filmmakers before the screening.
